Bishop Clarence L. Sellers, Jr.

Bishop Clarence L. Sellers, Jr. is the Pastor of the historic Mount Tabor COGIC as well as the Pastor and Founder of Dominion COGIC. He was born to Apostle Clarence Sr. and  Overseer Norvice Sellers, July 11, 1976. Bishop Sellers was reared in a God-fearing home. His parents taught him that holiness is not a denomination but a way of life. He embraced their teachings (the holiness

lifestyle) and developed a relationship with God for himself.

As a young man he developed a love for reading and studying God’s Word. He became particularly astute in the book of Revelations. By the age of 16, Bishop Sellers preached his initial sermon from the first few chapters of the book of Revelations. The congregation was in awe of his ability to effectively preach from this Book. Because of Bishop Sellers’ love for the word of God he attended the Billy Graham School of Evangelism and Norfolk Seminary College where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies; he was in the process of completing his master’s degree at the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union; but his love for the Church of God in Christ has led him to complete his Master of Divinity at The Charles H. Mason Theological Seminary, also known as ITC.

Ministry is his first love and because of that, he has served with his father in ministry from the age of 16. In July 2007, Bishop Sellers founded Dominion COGIC, in Chesapeake, VA. In the month of January 2010, Bishop Sellers was appointed Superintendent of the New Covenant District. Upon his father's transition to Florida, he also assumed the office of Pastor of Mt Tabor COGIC, in Smithfield, VA.

Bishop Clarence Sellers Jr. is extremely accomplished in his denomination. He is the newly appointed Senior Executive Assistant to the Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ, The Administrative Assistant to Bishop Dwight L. Green, Sr., Jurisdictional Prelate of Virginia 5th Jurisdiction. He was formerly the Vice President of the International Evangelism Department of the COGIC, the Director of Positive Direction for Youth at Evangel Fellowship COGIC, under the tutelage of the late Bishop Otis Lockett Sr.; National Adjutant in the Church of God in Christ; Youth Church President of International COGIC AIM Convention, a member of the Rules Committee General Assembly of the COGIC, and Co-Chairperson of the Assistant Secretary’s Committee of the COGIC. He

was also a Case Manager for the New Y-Capp Children with Behavioral and Medical Disabilities.

On November 29, 2018; Pastor Sellers married Lady Lori Sellers. Together they have five children and three grandchildren. It is the vision of Pastor Sellers to be one of God’s disciples to turn the world upside down, as is recorded in the book of Acts.
